Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fiber Optics Technology, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

Significant experience in the fiber optics industry, including hands-on experience with fiber optic installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Previous teaching or training experience, especially in an online or virtual environment, is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in fiber optic technologies, including splicing, testing, and network design.

Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.

Online Teaching Competency:

Experience with online learning platforms and tools (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, Zoom).

Responsibilities:

Course Development:

Create and update online course content, including lectures, assignments, and assessments.

Ensure that course materials are up-to-date with industry standards.

Instruction:

Deliver live or recorded online lectures and workshops.

Facilitate online discussions and group activities.

Student Engagement:

Provide support and guidance to students, answering questions and offering feedback on assignments.

Monitor student progress and address any academic or technical issues.

Develop and administer quizzes, exams, and other assessments.
